Xero Update: Faster Bill Approvals with Quick View
Xero has announced a new feature called Quick View, designed to improve how businesses manage their bills. Quick View introduces a split-screen panel that allows you to review, edit and approve invoices while keeping your bills list visible. Rather than opening each bill in a separate full-page view, this update aims to streamline the workflow into a single screen experience.
What This Update Aims to Improve
Quick View is designed to:
• Reduce the need to open multiple browser tabs
• Allow supplier details to be edited directly within the bill
• Add a dedicated Planned Date field for payment scheduling
• Introduce “Approve & Next” to move through bills faster
• Improve navigation between bills
Xero has indicated that this update will progressively become the default experience, so you may see it appear in your file over time.
